Phoenix, AZ (My Sportsbook) - The Seattle SuperSonics will try to snap a three-game slide when they travel to Phoenix to take on the Suns at America West Arena. Seattle is coming off an 81-80 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. Portland's Derek Anderson drilled a trey with 1.4 seconds remaining to determine the game's outcome. Wasted in the loss was a 20-point effort by Seattle's Rashard Lewis. "They took their chances and went for the game-winner and Anderson knocked down a huge shot," Seattle coach Nate McMillan said. "They executed that play perfect. He raced up from behind the 3-point line and dropped a three as opposed to looking for a tie or attacking the basket." The Sonics are 9-8 on the road and have a 7-6 mark within the Western Conference. Phoenix has won six of its last seven games and is coming off a 110-101 victory over the Sacramento Kings. Stephon Marbury and Shawn Marion scored 28 points apiece in the victory. "We rebounded the ball, we pushed the ball. We pretty much got into their style of game, but we played defense," Marion said. The Suns are 11-3 at home and have a 7-8 mark within the Western Conference. Seattle defeated Phoenix at KeyArena on October 30, 86-73. The teams split their four games last season, with each winning a game in the other's building.
