Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis and offensive tackle Trent Williams four games apiece for violating the league's substance abuse policy. The league announced its decision Tuesday, suspending Davis and Williams without pay. Davis caught 59 passes for 796 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games this season. Williams started 10 games at left tackle.

NFC EAST STILL UP FOR GRABS Let's face it, the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins are toast right now in the race for an NFC East title. Both Dallas and the New York Giants seem to be passing the buck on division supremacy, too. The Cowboys have been one of the league's hottest teams since November and wer

Seattle, WA (MySportsbook) - Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Russell Okung suffered a torn right pectoral muscle in Thursday's 31-14 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. No timetable was given for his return, but the Seattle Times reported he is expected to have season-ending surgery. The injury happened within the final two minutes of the game when Okung was tossed to the ground by Eagles defensive lineman Trent Cole after the whistle had blown. "He got thrown down after the whistle, really blatantly," Sea

rs at the line of scrimmage, and with one defender's hands all over him, Marshawn Lynch somehow escaped. Lynch's bruising 15-yard run in the opening quarter was only the first of four touchdowns scored by the Seattle Seahawks in a 31-14 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night, but nothing was a better snapshot of the game and the team trying to tackle him. Indeed, as Lynch shifted into "beast mode" at CenturyLink Field, the Eagles showed just how hard it's been for them to escape least mode. "Marshawn w

Eagles hoping to save season in Thursday tilt in Seattle NFL Football 12/01/2011

The expected Super Bowl contenders will be hoping that trend continues, as they enter the month with their playoff hopes hanging by a thread heading into a critical Thursday night tussle with the Seattle Seahawks from CenturyLink Field.
