| (MySportsbook) - While the Denver Broncos have been able to find success in the first year of a new era, the Oakland Raiders appear on the verge of ending one that's been a colossal failure thus far. The Broncos will attempt to move one step closer towards earning a playoff berth in this Sunday's AFC West clash with the wayward Raiders, who'll be starting their third quarterback this season when they visit Invesco Field at Mile High. Oakland finally seemed to have found a solution to a long-standing proble |

Under Marshall's wing, Rayshon Williams has improved both his grades and his football skills at Mullen High School, where the junior wide receiver is already drawing interest from NCAA programs. Marshall, the Denver Broncos' star receiver whose career has been marked by professional and personal slip-ups, has done some growing up himself over the last four months. ``There's a lot of things that young athletes deal with outside of football, the transition from college |

DENVER (AP) -The Denver Broncos harassed Peyton Manning last week, and for an encore, they get to face ... Charlie Frye? What might seem from the outside like a letdown is nothing of the sort, insisted safety Brian Dawkins, who picked off two of Manning's passes, but still watched the Colts star do enough to beat the Broncos (8-5). Dawkins said the Oakland Raiders (4-9) aren't the pushovers people might think just because their quarterback hasn't started a game in 14 months. ``We know what they like |

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) -Denver Broncos running back Correll Buckhalter is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against Oakland after missing all of this week's practices with a sprained ankle. Rookie running back Knowshon Moreno, who has a less severe ankle injury, is probable for Sunday after his second straight full practice Friday. Safety Renaldo Hill also is expected to miss the game after sitting out all week with an ankle injury, and cornerback Ty Law (hamstring) returned to practice Friday after |

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) -The Denver Broncos are banged up in both their offensive and defensive backfields as they prepare to face the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Running back Correll Buckhalter (ankle) hasn't practiced all week. Knowshon Moreno's ankle injury isn't as severe and he's expected to split snaps with either LaMont Jordan, who's battled a bad back this month, or Peyton Hillis, who has just a dozen carries this season. In the secondary, safety Renaldo Hill (ankle) missed his second straight pra |

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) -With all the injuries in the Denver Broncos' backfield, this could be the week that Peyton Hillis gets his chance to play a bigger role in Josh McDaniels' offense. Then again, maybe not. Hillis has just a dozen carries this season, and seven of them came at Kansas City two weeks ago when the Broncos were salting away a 44-13 rout. Last week at Indianapolis, he ran just once even though Correll Buckhalter went down with a sprained ankle and rookie running back Knowshon Moreno ke |

| Alameda, CA (MySportsbook) - The Oakland Raiders named Charlie Frye starting quarterback for Sunday's contest against the Denver Broncos. Frye will start in place of Bruce Gradkowski, who injured both knees during last week's loss to Washington. Former No. 1 overall pick JaMarcus Russell remains the backup, while the recently signed J.P. Losman will serve as the third quarterback.
