DENVER (AP) -Todd Sauerbrun may have taught Paul Ernster a little too well. The Denver Broncos cut the veteran punter Tuesday, the day he was supposed to come back from a four-game suspension for using the banned dietary supplement ephedra. The Broncos confirmed his release in a two-sentence press release, but team officials didn't respond to requests for more comments. Sauerbrun, a 12-year veteran, gave pointers to Ernster during the offseason and even pumped him up after Ernster had knee surgery la |

DENVER (AP) -Champ Bailey intercepted Steve McNair's pass in the end zone to stop a late drive and Jason Elam's 43-yard field goal sent the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens into halftime tied 3-3 on Monday night. The Ravens had the ball on the Broncos 10-yard line and McNair tried to force a third-down lob pass to receiver Clarence Moore in the right corner. Bailey, who had just been burned for a 26-yard gain, read it correctly and picked off his first pass of the season. The game was billed as a ba |

DENVER (AP) -The Baltimore Ravens took a 3-0 lead after one quarter on Matt Stover's 24-yard field goal following the first of the Denver Broncos' two turnovers Monday night. Chris McAlister recovered Tatum Bell's fumble at the Broncos' 40-yard line, setting up the score. Bell gathered in a screen pass along the sideline, but a hit by Terrell Suggs jarred the ball free. McAlister scooped up the fumble and tightroped the sideline to keep two feet in before falling out of bounds. The Ravens are plus-10 i |

DENVER (AP) -Patrick Chukwurah is finally raising his profile in his sixth NFL season, and not just because the Denver Broncos' upchucking defensive lineman lost his lunch on prime time two weeks ago. The Nigerian-born pass-rushing specialist is a physical specimen with few equals. At 6-foot-1 and 250 pounds, he has to speed to beat tackles outside and the strength to bull-rush them just as easily. After playing plenty of outside linebacker for most of his career, Chukwurah has moved exclusively to the |

| 33-year-old quarterback jettisoned by the Tennessee Titans this summer has guided the Ravens (4-0) to last-minute wins over Cleveland and San Diego the last two weeks. He'll give the Ravens another dimension Monday night when Baltimore visits the Denver Broncos (2-1), who fancy themselves a complete team, too, with a dominant defense and a dynamic offense. It used to be that opponents spent the week leading up to the Baltimore game talking about the Ravens' punishing defense and giving only lip service t |

| (MySportsbook) - The Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos will each put a pair of impressive streaks on the line when the teams clash in a marquee Monday night matchup from Invesco Field at Mile High. Baltimore has put together the first 4-0 start in their history and is one of only three teams, along with Indianapolis and Chicago, to remain unbeaten through the season's first four weeks. To keep their unblemished record intact, however, the Ravens will have to knock off a Denver squad which has won 11 cons |

| defenders this week: If you want to be the best, beat the best. Or at least outshine the best. The unbeaten Baltimore Ravens (4-0) visit Invesco Field on Monday night sporting a rejuvenated offense and their customary dominant defense, which the Denver Broncos (2-1) acknowledge is their best barometer. ``They won the Super Bowl strictly on defense, they've been the team everybody's been looking to when they look at being a great, aggressive defense,'' Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams said. ``Even las |

With his numbers down and his frustration level rising, Brady has found his on-field demeanor being scrutinized by media and fans. In Sunday night's 17-7 loss to the Denver Broncos, Brady screamed at officials from the sideline, hung his head after three-and-outs and lay facedown on the field for several moments after his last-gasp, fourth-down throw fell incomplete. ``I guess that's something that's been brought up quite a |
