| Montreal, Quebec (MySportsbook) - The Montreal Canadiens announced the signing of forwards Pierre Dagenais and Jonathan Ferland along with goaltender Jean-Francois Damphousse Friday. Dagenais played in nine games for the Florida Panthers last season and did not register a goal. Throughout parts of three NHL campaigns, the 25-year-old left winger has totaled 13 goals and six assists in 60 contests. Damphousse spent much of last season in the American Hockey League. In the 2001-02 season, he appeared in six games for the Calgary Flames and posted a 1-3 record with a 2.46 goals-against average.
